What this site uses
You do not need an account, email address, birthday or typed personal question to use the card studies or reading tool. The reading runs in your browser rather than sending your selections to a remote interpretation service. Details about cookies and advertising are set out below. If you choose to contact us by email, the email section explains what you share.
Browser-tab storage
The selected spread, shuffled card identities, directions and card selections are stored in your browser's session storage. This preserves a reading while you explore the card studies. The application does not send these selections to a reading service or an analytics endpoint.
Starting a new reading clears the old reading state. Closing a tab normally ends its session storage, although a browser's session-restore behaviour may preserve or restore a tab. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes stored state. If storage is blocked, you can still draw cards, but the reading may not survive navigation or a refresh.
Page requests and logs
Your browser requests pages, scripts and images from the server delivering this site. The server or hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, request paths, response codes and times to deliver pages and maintain the service. Images and fonts load from this site rather than third-party image or font services. The reading tool does not add your card selections to page addresses or send them to the server.
Source links open external websites. Visiting one sends a request to that website and is subject to its own practices. You do not need to open a source link to complete a reading.
Changes and questions
If advertising, analytics, saved accounts or other services are introduced, this notice will identify the services actually in use and explain any changes in data handling. For questions about this notice or a message you send, use the email address below.
Your advertising choices
You can manage or turn off ad personalization through Google Ads Settings. To opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance's WebChoices. These preferences do not turn off all advertising.
Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies. These controls are separate from the reading and note tools.
GDPR and regional consent
If Google advertising is enabled for visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK or Switzerland, consent will be requested before using cookies or similar storage where required and before using personal data for personalized advertising. Personalized Google ads in these regions will remain disabled until a Google-certified consent management platform supporting the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is in place.
Under the GDPR and applicable consent rules, any consent request must identify the providers and purposes involved and explain how to change or withdraw your choice.
Email and privacy questions
If you choose to email the site, your message includes your email address and any information you choose to send. Email services handle that message separately from this website. The website does not submit a message through a contact form.
